Besi meets her long lost sister, Samantha

Last Sunday, three days before Besi's 13th birthday, my sister, Sari, and I walked Besi & Birdie on the jetty close to the breakwater hoping to see the wayward 20-foot California Gray Whale straggler who was taking a breather in the Marina del Rey channel on its migration path from Baja California to No. Alaska. We then were approached by a Besi-look-alike. The striking resemblance was so uncanny that after exchanging details with the parents about birthdate/birthplace, we all suddenly realized they were long lost sisters separated almost 13 years ago when we bought them from their breeder in Santa Monica, CA. I invited them to come to the house. Samantha, Besi's sister was the first one to walk in the house. I asked Bill who was this dog, to which he replied, "It is Besi!". They have the same black mascara eyes, same freckley nose, same smile, same irritating high-pitched bark, same fatty tissues, same skin tags, etc. It was an awesome reunion!
